Phillip Island Attractions – Penguin Parade
A truly amazing once-in-a-lifetime sight! The Penguin Parade, only two
hours away from Melbourne, is our country’s most popular natural
wildlife experience. Where else can you go to see hundreds of the Little
Penguins materialize from the sea at sunset in order to return to their
burrows in the sand dunes at night? Summerland Beach is the location for
the daily penguin parade. There are different options for the visitor:
- General admission. Observe from viewing stands and boardwalks
- Penguin Sky Box. Observe from heated and elevated viewing tower. Limit
of 10 participants per night.
- Eco Tour
- Ultimate Tour. This is a fully accredited tour using night vision
technology and informative commentary f heard through personal
headphones. Limit of 10 participants per night.
